The hybrid kick-off meeting of LIFE-FROSTDEFEND project, hosted by the Agricultural Cooperatives Union Aeghion SA Representatives, took place in Aeghion, on 24th September 2021. All the consortium partners participated in the meeting either physically or virtually: National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos, Agricultural Cooperatives Union Aeghion SA, Agricultural University of Athens, Institut National de Recherche pour l’Agriculture, l’alimentation et l’Environnement and M-SENSIS Technological Applications Societe Anonyme. Beneficiaries’ representatives delivered presentations to introduce themselves, and their role in the project, while the formal financial and progress monitoring procedures, and the core technical and communication activities were also discussed. At the end of the meeting, the participants visited selected orchards and experiment plots in the greater area of Aeghion.
